Private Nurse Membership Kyle · Buda · San Marcos · New Braunfels · Austin & Surrounding Areas

Your parents deserve a nurse who knows them — not a stranger every visit.

Soluna is a private nurse membership for aging parents. Regular in-home visits from the same licensed nurse, medications handled, and a real advocate on the phone when the hospital calls — all for a flat monthly fee.

Direct-hire, private pay. No agency rotations. No hourly minimums.

What a month looks like

A steady rhythm of care, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Most families don't need round-the-clock nursing. They need reliable eyes on mom or dad, medications that are always right, and someone to call before small problems become ER visits.

Week 1

Nurse visit

Vitals, wellness check, and home look-around. Complete members get their medication planner filled and reconciled.

Week 2

Check-in call

How are the meds going? Any new symptoms, appointments, or prescriptions? A quick call keeps us ahead of changes.

Week 3

Second visit (Complete)

Planner refilled and reconciled — especially after any doctor visit or medication change. Essentials members stay current with pharmacy blister packs.

Week 4

Family update

A plain-English summary to the whole family: what we saw, what changed, what to watch for next month.

Every week, all month: your member line is open. Hospital admission, confusing new prescription, "is this worth a call to the doctor?" — your nurse helps you sort it out.

Membership plans

Two plans. One flat fee. No hourly billing, ever.

Every plan includes the same nurse every visit, the member phone line, and hospital liaison support. Choose the rhythm that fits where your parent lives today — memberships move with them if that changes.

The part families say matters most

When your parent is hospitalized, you shouldn't have to speak hospital.

Discharge planning moves fast, case managers are stretched thin, and families get one confusing phone call a day. Your Soluna nurse has spent years inside this system — and works it on your behalf.

The moment it happens

Call us first

Admission, ER trip, or a "we're not sure what to do" moment — your nurse helps you get the right questions to the right provider, and starts tracking the stay.

During the stay

We stay on it

With your signed authorization on file from day one, we check in with the care team, follow the plan, and translate every update into plain English for the whole family.

Coming home

No dropped handoffs

Discharge orders reviewed, new medications reconciled into the planner, follow-up appointments confirmed — the week readmissions are born is the week we watch closest.

The Soluna Network

One membership, a whole bench of help.

Aging well takes more than nursing. Soluna members get direct access to vetted, independent practitioners we trust — each one hired by you directly, priced transparently, and introduced personally by your nurse when the need comes up.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Is this home health? Will Medicare pay for it?
No — this is a private, membership-based service paid directly by families, which is exactly what lets us skip the visit quotas, rotating staff, and paperwork-driven care of agency models. If your parent qualifies for Medicare home health or hospice, we'll help you access it; those services work alongside your membership, not instead of it.
How are medications handled on each plan?
On Complete, your nurse fills and reconciles the medication planner at both monthly visits — and after every hospital or doctor visit — working from your parent's current med list and a signed order from their physician. On Essentials, we set up pharmacy-prepared blister packs at no cost: the pharmacy pre-sorts every dose and updates automatically when prescriptions change, and your nurse reviews everything at the monthly visit. If your parent takes many medications or has frequent changes, we'll recommend Complete — hands-on medication management done less than twice a month isn't something we're willing to sell.
How do the network practitioners work?
Each network practitioner — the care navigator, the notary, and any covering nurse — is an independent professional. When a need comes up, your nurse makes a personal introduction; you hire and pay that practitioner directly at their published rates. Soluna verifies licenses, checks state misconduct registries, requires background checks and insurance, and stakes its name on every introduction.
What don't you do?
We don't provide 24/7 or emergency care (call 911 for emergencies), we don't replace your parent's physician or home health when it's medically needed, and we don't make medical decisions for your family — we make sure you have what you need to make them. IV therapy, complex wound care, and comprehensive assessments are referred to the right level of care.
Can you talk to the hospital about my mom? Isn't that private?
At your welcome visit, your parent (or their legal representative) signs a HIPAA authorization naming your nurse as an authorized recipient of health information. That's what lets us call the hospital and actually get answers — and it's on file before you ever need it.
What happens if our nurse travels or is unavailable?
Continuity is planned, not improvised. With at least 30 days' notice you'll have a plan for the month: remote check-ins and the liaison line continue as normal, pharmacy-prepared medication packaging can cover planner refills, and where hands-on visits are needed, we introduce a vetted independent covering nurse whom you engage directly — with a corresponding adjustment to that month's fee.
My parent is already in assisted living — why would we need this?
Communities do their best, but staff rotate, ratios are thin, and family visits can't always catch what a nurse's eyes catch. The Facility Family Plan gives you an independent monthly nurse visit, honest plain-English updates, and an advocate who makes sure the care plan on paper is the care happening in the room. The facility keeps handling medications and daily care — we're there for your family, working alongside the community, not in place of it.
How does the free placement guidance work?
If the day comes when home is no longer the safest place, your nurse — who already knows your parent's health, medications, and personality — helps you evaluate assisted living and memory care options in the corridor, tours with you if you'd like, and supports the transition. There's never a charge to your family; like most placement services, Soluna may receive a referral fee from the community a family chooses, which never affects our recommendation or your price.
Is there a contract or minimum?
Month-to-month, cancel anytime. The only one-time cost is the $99 welcome visit, which covers the full medication reconciliation, home safety walk-through, and paperwork setup.
What area do you serve?
The Kyle, Buda, San Marcos, New Braunfels, and Austin corridor, plus surrounding areas. Membership is limited so every family gets the attention they're paying for — if we're at capacity, we'll add you to the waitlist in order.
